Here’s a project I worked on for Sennheiser at NAB, a massive annual broadcast industry trade show. That’s me in the desert with their ambisonics microphone. I helped shoot this as a second camera person, an equipment manager and camera tech, I created the editing RAID array that this was edited on, and also helped edit audio. It was a great opportunity to catch up with friends and collaborate with a well respected brand.
This was a submission to the CCLI Guitar Giveaway. Each contestant needed to play an arrangement of Amazing Grace. My guy Richie Nobrega (@nobesmusic) asked for help so we did and he won the competition! @julienjarry and I lit and shot this and @daveedwardsmusic captured sound. The amp was buzzing when we were setting up so I took a look at it and discovered that the ground was missing from the plug. I replaced the plug and the buzz went away. Julien edited everything together and I’m really happy with how everything turned out.
Jealous Lover by Animal Flag
This is the music video for Jealous Lover by Animal Flag, written and directed by Matt Politoski. The project was filmed on a Sony FS700 with an Odyssey 7Q recorder to capture 10x slow motion. I worked along with Matt and cinematographer/editor Austin Abbott from the planning stages of the project and did all of the research for how to capture continuous 2K 240p on the FS700. Sydney Gayle Amanuel, the leading actor, was also highly involved throughout the process providing planning and direction. I was the camera technician, dolly grip, key grip, and I edited a version of the song to synchronize our movements in time with the song after everything was slowed down. It was a challenging concept to execute, but I'm so happy with how everything came out. It was such a treat working with these ULTRA talented friends.
Here's a piece that I worked on for Julien Jarry. He's a filmmaker and DP working out of Greenwich, CT. Julien worked closely with the director of development to create the concept for this video. We filmed for 2 full days on 2 Sony FS7s and an A7sii and worked together to light everything and capture sound. Julien edited and delivered the final product and I think he did an excellent job. I'm really proud to have had a part in making this piece. Check him out at julienjarry.com.
